Look Hot on the Cheap: Part 1 – Jewelry & Accessories

I’m going to be doing a three part series going over my top tips for how to look hot and save money at the same time. I’ve found some great resources over the years and have saved tons of money shopping for fashion and beauty related products both online and in stores. So without further ado, here is part one of the series and how you can save money when buying your jewelry and fashion accessories…

I’m going to come right out and tell you my favorite place to buy a pretty wide range of affordable jewelry and accessories is through the retailer TJ Maxx. Unfortunately they don’t have much in the way of online shopping, but if you’re looking to buy some jewelry or accessories such as sunglasses, handbags, leggings, gloves or scarves then see if there’s a store in your are and give them a try. I’d recommend following them on Twitter too as they announce deals and savings pretty regularly.

Now if you absolutely must shop online for your jewelry and accessories, then keep reading to see my favorite place…

Okay, so for shopping online for inexpensive jewelry you’ve got a number of great options. But even so, I find a lot of my purchases as of late have come from Overstock and their Fashion Jewelry section. I’ve bought some really nice items in the $20 to $75 range that I’ve been quite impressed with. For the price, the quality has been great so far and I’ve been getting a number of compliments on some of this jewelry.

As of right now there’s over 3,000 items including everything from rings, necklaces, bracelets, and everything in between. My advice would be to read the reviews and have a close look at the photos and descriptions so you know exactly what you’re buying before you go through with an order.
