I’ve found shopping for women’s clothes online to be quite a bit more difficult than both shoes and jewelry/accessories. You can find some good deals out there, but the problem I face (even more so than buying shoes) is with the sizing. I find that a good portion of clothes I buy online I end up having to return or exchange because they just don’t fit correctly. So one thing you’ll need to be super careful about when buying online is to only buy from stores that offer free returns and exchanges. That being said, you can still find some pretty good deals if you’re willing to deal with the hassle of having to return the odd item due to it not fitting correctly.
My top place to shop online for clothes has got to be Zappos. They have a huge selection of clothing ranging from shirts & tops, dresses, pants & jeans to a pretty big selection of outerwear. To be honest, Zappos is really the only place I actually buy clothes online because they do offer free returns and exchanges and they have an incredible selection of clothing. You can find clothes for work, casual outings or dressy occasions and the user reviews on their site are very informative. Because of all this and their great prices I would have to make Zappos my top shopping destination for clothes and apparel online.
As far as Brick & Mortar stores go, I think it’s pretty tough to narrow it down to just one. But I do have a couple of favorites though in Marshalls and H&M. I’d actually say that close to 50% of my clothing wardrobe comes from those places combined, which is a pretty huge amount. Between the two you can find pretty much any item of clothing that you’d want… Cute tops, pants, dresses, you name it. Best of all is that they are both very trendy and on point with their styles, so you’ve got not only a wide selection of clothes, but a wide selection of stylish & trendy clothes. H&M in particular does some pretty fantastic collaborations with well known designers from time to time, which allows you to get some very nice high-end items for decent prices.
